As far back as I can remember, my dad used to carry a SLR Minolta film camera. It was with us on every family holiday and was where my love for photography first started. To go anywhere without a camera in hand was a big no-no. In 2008 I received my first digital camera, a Canon 400D, and started really enjoying the freedom that the digital realm provides. I joined the Westville Camera Club which helped immensely in getting my photography heading in the right direction. The club provided me with a platform to have my work critted and to learn from respected professionals in the field.
From landscapes to weddings to every-day occurrences, life's events are often short lived and flutter by in a moment. I strive to capture truth and sincerity in every event as it unfolds before me.
